Alot of us do it including me I often wondered whats so FABULOUS about procrastinating I know your wondering what the hell is she talking about and why is she referring to it as fabulous?  I figure since so many of us do it and it is so tantalizing to us it must be fabulous right?

So many people have procrastinated and missed out on AMAZING opportunities they could have had if they had just taken the time to seize the moment hopefully by the time I finish this post you will understand what I'm talking about.

How may times have you put off something that can be done today but you decide you to put it off and do it later or just simply don't do it at all? Now take a moment to think about and ponder on that question ...  I am the first to admit that I have been guilty of procrastinating and I have put things off until later but only to find myself in a state of  stress, worry and the feeling of being overwhelmed!

The things that I was most guilty of procrastinating about is : cleaning out my in box, filing papers and organizing my laundry room  and for some reason for a long time I would just put it off until you guessed it I would be frantically  looking for something.  You guessed it there I was stressing because I couldn't find an email, worried because I couldn't find a paper or even worse couldn't find my favorite pajamas because the are buried deep inside of a laundry basket of clothes waiting to be folded and put away now I don't mind washing the laundry but all that folding and putting it away was for the birds!!!

But then one day I said procrastinating was for the birds so I tackled my laundry room sorted, folded put away and donated  everything that was out of order then I said to myself don't stop there and I cleared out all the papers and took what I didn't need to my daughters school to be recycled even though I still have a lot of emails they are only of information  that I need and important not just a bunch of junk hoarded that I had in my inbox... Yep I said it I hoarded my inbox the first step to healing admitting you have a problem so I ask all you other inbox hoarders to stand up and admit you have a problem!

I now consider procrastination a disease because like with any thing that causes stress and worry it begins to affect you physically headache, high blood pressure, irritability and the list could go on and on but I'm sure you get the picture.

So the next time you decide to wait until you do something that can be done today just keep in mind when your head is hurting, your stressed out, aggravated, your pulling your hair out and looking ugly  you could've done it the easy way and seized the moment captured that opportunity and have it over and done with and resting in your favorite pajamas

So my question to you still remains why is procrastination so tantalizingly fabulous? We all have been guilty of doing it so it must be fabulous right?

Tips to help you defeat procrastination:
1. We've all heard it before create a to do list  and stick to it you know there is an app for that.
2. Take baby step not everyone will have a fire burning in them like I did so break down what you need to    do in smaller parts and don't stop until your done.
3.If you need help ask somebody or hire somebody to do it.
4.Fight a good fight and don't give up!
5. Say a prayer... I ask the the "Lord please help me to conquer all of the obstacles and barriers that are in my way.
6. Make a "When I can't he can" can all you do is write down on a small piece of paper whatever it is that is worrying you fold it and drop it in a can jar box whatever and turn it over to (God,Jesus,Allah,Jehovah or what ever higher being you believe in)  and let it go trust me it works!

**I believe in the power of prayer I believe that when blessings go up prayers come down**
