August Flower of the Month: Gladiolus

Gladiolus is the birth flower of those born in the month of August.

Meaning: The Gladiolus symbolizes strength of character, honor, faithfulness and sincerity.

The Gladiolus is a perennial that is available year round in a wide variety of colors from bright to pastel shades ranging from white to of purple including some bi colors. Gladiolus are inexpensive and produce bulbs making the  easy for someone getting married to grow themselves and enjoy them every year after their wedding as a reminder of the beautiful flowers used for their wedding!
